| Personal Life in My Words: |
Moved to Wagoner after graduation. Put off college for a few years and entered the work force. I attended N.S.U. in Tahlequah, where I graduated with BBA in Marketing. I moved to Tulsa where I lived and worked for 7 years. During this time I finally accepted who I was and came out 8 years ago. That was the most amazing experience. It was both frightening and exciting. Frightening because society did not accept me and I feared every moment I would be assaulted physically. Exciting because I realized I was not alone and there is a great big gay world out there waiting on me. It was a very liberating feeling to be able to tell the world who I really was and not live behind what society calls "normal". I met the man of my dreams and we relocated to Rhode Island June 2006 and married him in June 2007. Don't live your life according to someonelse's beliefs and standards. Be who you are and be proud. |
